Good Weather; a real crowd pleaser!
Best Airfest Ever!
Friday evening 9/12/03
    Friday night after a perfect lift-off the Pilots returned and set-up their Balloons for a spectacular Nite-Glow, A packed airport grounds saw 17 Balloons lit up the night sky. 
    Saturdays Morning Flight canceled because of high wind conditions, but they calmed down in time for Saturday night - when a full parking lot watched as 23 Balloons glowed for over an hour in the  night sky. 
. 
Clear skies and light winds brought the Balloons directly over the city for Sunday mornings hair and hound race. The hair balloon landed and placed the X on the Shattuck / St. Mary's base ball diamond just inside the arch way to the Admin. buildings.  
22 Hot Air Balloons tried to maneuver over the X waking the residents, who came out of their houses in their pajamas for a real city wide pajama party. 

Beautiful, Just Beautiful!

Sunday Morning 9/14/03
All & All this 19th Annual Airfest was one of the best yet. " A Real Crowed Pleaser!" Lots to see and do from the Friday morning's Aviation Days for the 6th graders to the FAPA pancake breakfast to aircraft and ultralites.
